On a another most recent outreach mission with Parkway Hills Baptist Church and Pathway of Life Church/ACTZ Ministries we served an ever increasing number of God's Concrete Angels. GOD BLESS THEM ALL!
As shown by the above picture the number of God's Concrete Angels is ever increasing, as well as the ever increasing needs to be met for them. With this in mind we, along with dedicated, Boots on the Ground, Churches, Organizations, and Individuals have stepped up our game to meet those ever increasing needs. On April 8, 2024 we had a Total Solar Eclipse that demonstrated God's Wondrous and Magnificent Works of Beauty and Awesomeness'. Even in God's Concrete Angels darkest moments God's Light is still Shining Through!!

On Sunday April 21, 2024 Parkway Hills Baptist Church provided an AWESOME Breakfast for God's Concrete Angels. As you can clearly see from the above pictures their were a large number of God's Concrete Angels that came to have breakfast and hear the word of God. We are clearly seeing an ever increasing number of God's Concrete Angels on the streets in Dallas, this is just in Dallas. We continue to ask where is all the money going that the City of Dallas has been given, as well as some of the larger nonprofit organizations, money that is supposed to help alleviate the issue of homelessness, where is it going?

Come rain, sleet, or snow, we, along with Parkway Hills Baptist Church and Pathway of Life Church/ACTZ Ministries, are out with God's Concrete Angels. On Thursday May 23, 2024 the rain came quickly and left quickly. We all took it in stride and continued giving and loving on all of God's Concrete Angels! God Bless You All!!

Even though they have had almost everything stripped away they still hold strong to their Faith. BRING ON THE POPSICLES!! On June 13, 2024 Parkway Hills Baptist Church helped beat the heat for God's Concrete Angels with lots and lots of popsicles. They were a big hit!
On June 20, 2024 a beautiful and wonderfully talented family joined Parkway Hills Baptist Church to sing and preach to God's Concrete Angels. The family, mom Lacondra, daughter Mariah, and sons Dewayne and Javon are working with Parkway Hills Baptist Church to get back on their feet. They are currently staying at a local shelter and working towards a permanent place to live. Please keep this beautiful family, as well as all of God's Concrete Angels, in your Hearts and Prayers.
God's Concrete Angel Ronnie, #27, shared with all of us that he had just recently turned his life over to Christ and was looking forward to walking with the Lord and getting back on his feet. Congratulations Ronnie and May God Bless You Every Step of the Way!

On July 4, 2024 Parkway Hills Baptist Church put together a beautiful feast for God's Concrete Angels! There were lots of hot dogs, popsicles, and extra special treats for our God's Concrete Angels Veterans'. HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY 2024 TO ALL!!

This is one of God's Concrete Angels, A.J., she recently let us know that one of God's Concrete Angels, Ricky, (aka Papa Rick), had passed away. She is standing in front of Papa Ricks tent that has been decorated with flowers in his memory.
We, along with many, many, other Boots on the Ground Churches, individuals, and organizations have known Papa Rick for a long, long time. He was one of the first God's Concrete Angels that we came to know and love, like so many other people that had come to love him over the years. Papa Rick always made sure that his fellow homeless friends would always have something to eat and drink, even if it meant he may go without, thus the nickname Papa Rick, he took care of everyone. He Was Very, Very, Special and He Will Always Have a Special Place in All of Our Hearts!! We All Love You and Will Miss You Papa Rick!!
This is one of the many AWESOME Groups that we have had the pleasure of meeting while serving God's Concrete Angels. They along with their Church Chaplain have a homeless ministry as well. They joined us on August 1, 2024 to help feed, Minister, and give Hope and Love to God's Concrete Angels. God Bless Each and Everyone of You!!
These wonderful individuals are Michael, Pop, and Crystal. They are out showing love, compassion, and assistance in the varying needs of God's Concrete Angels six days a week. They see the pain and suffering of God's Concrete Angels as we do and they reach out to give help in anyway they are able to. God Bless Each and Everyone of You!!
MOVING DAY!
This notice was given to God's Concrete Angels at one of their few encampments that they still feel safe at and have shade from the heat of the day. Ironically it is in front of Dallas City Hall. I guess the City of Dallas is tired of looking at the problem they have created and have not solved. The City of Dallas is also breaking the law. The law states that the homeless are to be given a 30 day written notice of vacating an area, not 8 days as it clearly shows on this notice. With more and more homeless, (alot being first time homeless because of lost jobs and nowhere to go), why are we still not seeing any real solutions instead of temporary and cruel fixes such as this?
Michael and Crystal, from the picture above, were out with God's Concrete Angels on Thursday August 15, 2024 as the City of Dallas cleared the area at 5:45am that morning. They stated it was beyond cruel and that even with the promises of housing for God's Concrete Angels there were many, many, of God's Concrete Angels still without shelter. We again ask where is the millions and millions of dollars allocated to help alleviate the homeless issue in Dallas, where is the money going, as well as the housing that was to be built for the homeless from the taxpayer approved 2017 Bond Package. WHERE IS IT GOING!
MOVING DAY AGAIN!!
Once again the City of Dallas is moving God's Concrete Angels, with very little time given, in between the notice given and the date of closure of their encampment. The area to be closed is again in the area of Dallas City Hall. Sadly we have seen this happen over and over again with God's Concrete Angels, with no permanent solutions offered. You would think with these particular encampments being located in close proximity to Dallas City Hall that their would be more attention given to the problem of homelessness, but sadly this is not the case.
Another big factor that comes into play with moving the homeless, in this particular area so aggressively, is the fact that the State Fair is scheduled to come to town very shortly. And the City of Dallas does not want to have visitors coming into Dallas to enjoy the State Fair seeing homeless people everywhere, so the City of Dallas solution is to try and hide the homeless. These again are just temporary fixes instead of permanent solutions.
We recently met this wonderful gentleman offering food and compassion to God's Concrete Angels. He told us he comes out on a regular basis and sees the great need for more people to get involved. God Bless You and thank you for all you do for God's Concrete Angels and keep it up!!

They too see the ever growing need for more permanent solutions and less temporary fixes for the homeless problems in the City of Dallas. On September 5, 2024 as Parkway Hills Baptist Church prepared to feed God's Concrete Angels we saw that the number of God's Concrete Angels begin to grow larger and larger. We are seeing an ever increasing number of God's Concrete Angels in need on a weekly basis. Please keep all of God's Concrete Angels in Your Hearts and Prayers and Thank You!
God's Concrete Angel, Derrick, (D. Rush), recently let us know that he had received housing. We are so happy for him. He also shared with us one of his latest drawings. Derrick we are so, so, happy for you!!
This is one of God's Concrete Angels that showed up one day while we were out ministering, with a "Jesus Saves" banner attached to his back. He walks around the city with the banner attached to his back. God Bless Him and All of God's Concrete Angels!
This is a sign made by one of God's Concrete Angels, Stella. She was recently housed, but unfortunately, like alot of God's Concrete Angels that are housed, the housing unit was in awful condition. When alot of God's Concrete Angels are housed it is usually in crime infested neighborhoods and the housing itself is in very, very, bad condition and if they complain the landlord uses that as an excuse to evict them. When this happens God's Concrete Angels have to begin the housing process all over again, which can take years. It is a very vicious cycle only made to keep them homeless and vulnerable. God Bless All of God's Concrete Angels!!
This beautiful God's Concrete Angel, in the middle, joined us, along with Parkway Hills Baptist Church, for food and fellowship. We found out that she sings with the Dallas Street Choir, a Choir made up of homeless individuals that have sang around the country. When we asked her where she was staying she told us that she was living on the streets. The Dallas Street Choir performs around the country for mostly paying attendees at their performances. So we have to ask where is all of this money going, if not to help those homeless that sing for the Choir to gain housing?
We did see on the Dallas Street Choir website what God's Concrete Angels do receive for all of their hard work at rehearsals and performances though and it was as follows: "For every rehearsal or performance in which a singing member successfully participates, that member is entitled to receive their choice of a crisp $2 bill or an all-day Dallas Area Rapid Transportation (DART) voucher. While these do come at an expense for the organization, they are invaluable to the singer".
So they basically thank you, the homeless, for making them, the "Dallas Street Choir", alot of money by being a homeless singer, but if we, The Dallas Street Choir, house you then you are of no use to us then. Where did you lay your head last night? For alot of God's Concrete Angels the hard concrete of this parking lot serves as their bed for the night. Across the street from this parking lot is Dallas City Hall, where the homeless problem can clearly be seen. A homeless problem that has been created by Dallas City Hall because of a lack of permanent solutions, but instead just temporary fixes and more homelessness. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OF GOD'S CONCRETE ANGELS!!
These are God's Concrete Angels, Bridget and Bruce. Bruce is a Veteran and Bridget has dementia. Bridget was living in a facility that was suppose to be helping her and instead Bruce found out that they were not only not helping her, but they were beating on her. Bruce took her out of the facility and since then they have been living on and off on the streets and in a motel when he can.
We spoke to Brent about meeting with the Veterans Administration and he said he has been working with them, but that the process has been very, very, slow. Sadly we hear this alot from our homeless Veterans. On this particular night, with the temperature in the 50's, Brent and Bridget's bed was the cold hard concrete, with Dallas City Hall in the background. The same Dallas City Hall that has had a big part in causing situations like that of Brent and Bridget and many, many, more of God's Concrete Angels. Please Keep All of God's Concrete Angels in Constant and Continuous Prayers and Thank You From All of God's Concrete Angels!
On another recent night, with the temperature's in the 40's, we once again came across several of God's Concrete Angels having to utilize the only place they had to lay their heads for the night. We ask, as we have so many times before, where is all of the money going that has been allocated to help alleviate the homelessness in the City of Dallas. Please check out the tab called Angel Blog on this website to see the millions and millions of dollars that has been allocated to help alleviate the homelessness in the City of Dallas, but sadly has not been utilized as it should be, as we can plainly see from the number of homeless without any shelter that we see on a regular basis.
This is one of God's Concrete Angels, Carlos, with Sue from Parkway Hills Baptist Church. Carlos shared with us about the true meanings of the words Christmas and Thanksgiving. He told us that "mas" in Christmas means more and with that in mind if you flip the word Christmas you get More Christ. Amen. And he said if you take the word Thanksgiving and flip it you get Giving Thanks. Two words that with these original and true meanings need to be adhered to more often then not. Thank you Carlos for sharing such wonderful, true, and original meanings that we can share with others.
This same evening some of God's Concrete Angels also shared with us that the Dallas Police have begun what they are calling "Operation Clean Sweep". This involves the Dallas Police going around to homeless encampments and homeless individuals, all who stay outside, and clearing them out, but not providing any resources for the homeless to be able to find shelter, other than outside. So the cycle just continues with the homeless going somewhere else, only to get moved again by the Dallas Police. One of God's Concrete Angels shared with us that they overheard one of the Dallas Police state "It would be better if they, (the homeless), were dead, then they couldn't keep coming back".
