He will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me."
Matthew 25:45
Looking at his disciples, Jesus said: "Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh." — Luke 6:20-21

We Will Continue to Add More of God's Concrete Angels and Their Stories to Our List, as Well as Updates on Them as We Take the Journey Along Side of Them to Help Guide Them in Less Tragedies and More Triumphs!
Angel Jessie
*UPDATE*
11/12/2020
Jessie has had a setback in his journey to get off the streets. It can be very difficult for alot of God's Concrete Angels when they are trying to progress to the next level in getting off the streets. They sometimes fallback into their old habits that got them there in the first place. The process to get off the streets and into supportive housing can sometimes take months and even years. And in that timeframe old habits can resurface making it even harder to begin again for alot of God's Concrete Angels.
Its hard for us to understand why the process of receiving supportive housing is such a slow process when so much money flows through alot of the bigger nonprofit organizations tasked with helping the homeless. And it is especially hard to understand for God's Concrete Angels, who sometimes do not survive to see any type of supportive housing, dying on the streets instead. Please continue to keep all of God's Concrete Angels in your hearts and Prayers and thank you from all of God's Concrete Angels.
We just recently met Jessie and as we visited with him on numerous occasions he begin to tell us his story. Jessie is 54 years of age and he moved here from a small town in Texas, in 2018, to stay with his sister here in Dallas. It wasn't too long after moving here to Dallas that his sister moved her boyfriend in and Jessie was forced to move. With no where else to go Jessie ended up on the streets.
Jessie's current address is this tent underneath an overpass in downtown Dallas. A place that was just given notice by the city of Dallas to vacate. Jessie works part-time at a store around the corner from his tent. He does custodian work for them. Jessie is also trained as a cook, working for a local ministry as their cook, as well as driving for them.
As we talked more and more with Jessie he expressed several times to us that he was so ready to get off the streets but he was not sure about where to start or how to start the process. By the Grace of God we were able to connect Jessie to a caseworker out of CitySquare that we had heard about and that had helped several other of God's Concrete Angels transition off of the streets and into permanent housing. With the help of this caseworker Jessie has begun the process and he eagerly looks forward to each and every step. This picture of Jessie was taken on July 9, 2020 when we visited with him to see how everything was going so far. I would say if Jessie's smile is any indication it is going very well! Please keep Jessie in your hearts and Prayers as he goes through the process to hopefully get off the streets and into a real home and thank you.
Angel Jimmy
This truck is the home of one of God's Concrete Angels, a 69 year old gentleman named Jimmy. The beautiful artwork and crafts above are also the awesome handy work of Jimmy's. Since 2016 Jimmy has been homeless. This happened after working for over 20 years at the same company Jimmy was forced to retire because of his age.
Jimmy mostly lives off the little social security he receives. Even though Jimmy has very little and life after working for so long, at a company he loved, has been difficult he doesn't want anyone to feel sorry for him. Jimmy believes things will get better for him. In the meantime he continues to work on his artwork and crafts and hopes to one day have some land to call his own.
Jimmy told us "They've done surgery on my mouth, they've done surgery on my eyes, and God has done surgery on my heart". Please keep Jimmy in your heart and Prayers as we do what we can to let people know about his wonderful talent with his artwork and crafts and his search for his own land and thank you.
Angel William
This is William Dorsey, we recently met him as we were giving out food, water, and clothing to God's Concrete Angels outside one of the local nonprofit organizations. Everything he owned was inside one roll-away suitcase. As we gave him some water and something to eat he begin to tell us his story.
Mr. Dorsey is 70 years of age and he has been homeless for 7 weeks. This happened when he became estranged from his wife of many years. Mr. Dorsey was quick to let us know, that even though this has happened in his life, he believes God will help him get through this. He told us that he has over 50 years of experience in training animals and he gave us one of his business cards and flyers that he has been able to put together and hand out with the help of one of the local nonprofit's. We please ask that you all keep Mr. Dorsey and all of God's Concrete Angels in your hearts and Prayers and thank you from all of God's Concrete Angels.
Angel Jason & Angel Mary
We have known these beautiful God's Concrete Angels, Jason and Mary, for over 2 years. When we first met Jason and Mary they were staying in a very small tent together and they would get up every morning at 3:15am and take 2 trains all the way to Plano for their construction jobs. During this time Jason and Mary continued to stay focused and committed and to save the majority of their money from their jobs.
And because of all of Jason and Mary's commitment and dedication to their jobs, and to each other, we are pleased to announce that with the money that they have saved so far they were able to purchase a piece of some of the same land that they have stayed on while homeless, pictured above is that land.
Jason and Mary have told us that they have decided that with the help of their church, Church Without Walls, they would like to utilize the land to build small homes for the homeless. Jason and Mary also hope that their story can be an inspiration for others of God's Concrete Angels that may believe there is no way out of their situation. Jason and Mary want them to know that it can be done and with a strong hope in the Lord and hard work and dedication they did it and others can too!! God Bless You Jason and Mary!! You are an Inspiration!!
Angel Antonio
This is Antonio, who we have known for a few years now. As we have with alot of God's Concrete Angels we have been following Antonio's journey as he navigates his way out of homelessness. We have been there to provide what we can to help in that journey and cheer him on along the way. Well we are happy to say that Antonio is almost there.
Antonio has been working two jobs seven days a week in order to save for a car and a permanent place to live. This hard work and dedication has started to payoff for Antonio. He is pictured here with his recently purchased car, that also doubles as his home at the moment while he now saves for his forever home.
Antonio will tell you that it hasn't been easy, but it has been worth it. Antonio had tried working with some of the larger nonprofits that work with the homeless, but he said the process was so slow and discouraging that he decided to go about getting out of his situation on his own. Which has proven to be alot faster process and alot more rewarding knowing that he is able to do it by working hard and not giving up.
For his fellow homeless friends Antonio says that they too should not give up, but rather find whatever work they can and begin to save also for their forever home. Antonio we would just like to say that we are so, so, proud of all your hard work and we will continue to cheer you on and help wherever we can in your pursuit of your forever home! YOU ARE AN AWESOME INSPIRATION TO US ALL!!
Angel Brenda
This is Brenda, one of God's Concrete Angels beautiful Angels. As with alot of God's Concrete Angels we have known Brenda for a little while and we have been there with her to help in anyway we could as she navigated her path to permanent housing. Well we are excited to announce that as of this picture on August 12, 2021, Brenda has finally received her permanent housing. To say there were not tough times along the way for Brenda as she took this journey would be untrue. There were times of depression, coupled with wanting to just give up.
As Brenda will tell you the process can be long and at times disappointing. But we would do what we could to encourage her and let her know we were with her as well as her fellow God's Concrete Angels. At one point they had the housing for her and then at the last minute they tell her that it had fallen through and she would not be able to move in and that it would be a little longer wait. But all through the process, even in the darkest times, Brenda was able to hold on and keep persevering. She is pictured here with her car that was her home while she worked to get permanent housing. BRENDA WE ARE SO EXCITED AND HAPPY FOR YOU AND WE LOVE YOU AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!
Angel Glen
*UPDATE*
Glen informed us on September 30, 2021 that his approval for housing had fallen through. He was told that because of his criminal past he was refused housing. Even though Glen has fully paid for his criminal past and has not reoffended for a long time he is still being punished.
Sadly we see this alot of times with God's Concrete Angels, even though they have paid for their mistakes those same mistakes continue to follow them when they try and secure housing or a job. God has forgiven them but society continues to condemn them. At the moment Glen is trying to stay upbeat and continues to look at other avenues to secure permanent housing. Please continue to keep all of God's Concrete Angels in your Hearts and Prayers and thank you from all of God's Concrete Angels.
This is Glen and on Thursday, August 26, 2021, Glen told us he finally got his housing approved. Like alot of God's Concrete Angels Glen has been homeless for awhile, but Glen did not lose hope and he continued to do his part to work towards getting permanent housing. Glen told us he credits God first and foremost for helping make this happen for him. Glen said that this can happen for his fellow homeless friends as well, they just have to keep moving forward and not give up. As you can see in this picture he is giving all the glory to God, AMEN!! We are so proud of you Glen and GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!!
Angel Kristy
On the same day we heard the good news about Glen we also heard the good news about Kristy. She too finally got approved for her permanent housing. Like Glen, Kristy also did what she needed to do to make this happen. And like Glen, Kristy will also tell you that others of her homeless friends can also make it happen. They just need to put in the work and dedication and not give up. Kristy we are proud of you and may GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!!
