God's Concrete Angels

He will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me." Matthew 25:45

"Do not exploit the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court, for the Lord will take up their case and will exact life for life."
Proverbs 22:22-23

On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, we came across this marking in the form of a Cross. It was just outside of one of God's Concrete Angels many tent communities. God is always looking out for his Angels!

We recently met Mr. Mathis delivering out firewood to God's Concrete Angels. In talking with Mr. Mathis he told us that he has had his Landscaping business for quite awhile and that every chance he gets he delivers out firewood to God's Concrete Angels, making sure that they not only stay warm during the winter, by allowing them to be able to build a campfire, but this also enables them to have firewood to cook on. Mr. Mathis also gives opportunities for God's Concrete Angels to have a job, by working with him in his Landscaping Business. Thank you Mr. Mathis for all that you do for God's Concrete Angels!

After being forced out once again by the City of Dallas, from their last tent community, God's Concrete Angels moved again. With the assistance of organizers from the group, Dallas Houseless Committee, some of God's Concrete Angels with Camp Rhonda moved to Pioneer Plaza as their next tent community, directly across the street from Dallas City Hall. This particular spot was chosen in order to make a statement to the City of Dallas that the need is great, for those that are homeless, for more permanent solutions, instead of just temporary fixes, when it comes to housing for the homeless.

Pushed Out Again! After only 5 days of being at Pioneer Plaza God's Concrete Angels were once again pushed out on March 12, 2021 by the City of Dallas.

As of March 13, 2021 some of God's Concrete Angels, with Camp Rhonda, with the help of organizers with the group, Dallas Houseless Committee, have landed in a new spot. For how long, we will just have to wait and see. As always we ask everyone to keep all of God's Concrete Angels in your hearts and Prayers and thank you from all of God's Concrete Angels.

On Monday, March 29, 2021 we teamed up with Kia, seen here on the end with the mask, and her nonprofit, Breaking Chains of Hunger, to provide job opportunities for God's Concrete Angels. Kia and Breaking Chains of Hunger provided the jobs and we provided those of God's Concrete Angels that were willing, wanting, and able to work. Pictured here are just some of God's Concrete Angels that signed up to work. We are so excited for this wonderful opportunity for God's Concrete Angels! A huge thank you to Kia and Breaking Chains of Hunger and a huge thank you to God's Concrete Angels Ricky, (aka Papa), for first introducing us to Kia and her group, Breaking Chains of Hunger.

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL OF GOD'S CONCRETE ANGELS!!

On Sunday, April 11, 2021, we joined Kia and her group, Breaking Chains of Hunger, where there was food, clothing, haircuts, music, games, and an ABUNDANCE OF LOVE for God's Concrete Angels! This day happened to be Kia's birthday and she and Breaking Chains of Hunger chose to give back in a big way by providing the food, haircuts, music, games, and clothing donations to God's Concrete Angels! Thank you Kia and Breaking Chains of Hunger from all of God's Concrete Angels for an absolute AWESOME DAY!!

We are happy to announce that ACTZ Street Ministry, with Pathway of Life Church, is back setting up in person and offering Praise and Worship to God's Concrete Angels, feeding them Spiritually as well as physically. Welcome back ACTZ, from all of God's Concrete Angels!

Pictured above are just a few of God's Concrete Angels tent communities. We are currently seeing an ever growing number of God's Concrete Angels tent communities. We please ask that you continue to keep all of God's Concrete Angels in your hearts and Prayers as we and other "Boots on the Ground" organizations navigate through the ever growing number of God's Concrete Angels tent communities and reach out to them to try and assist them in more permanent solutions instead of temporary fixes.

In a recent torrential rainfall, on May 11, 2021, some of God's Concrete Angels found refuge from the storm in these large storm drains. Right next to these storm drains sits one of the larger nonprofit organizations for the homeless. This organization can and should allow for shelter from these storms, but unfortunately they don't and this is what some of God's Concrete Angels have to do to seek shelter from the storm. Please continue to keep all of God's Concrete Angels in your hearts and Prayers and thank you from all of God's Concrete Angels.

Another one of the beautiful "Boots on the Ground" groups that we continue to work together with for God's Concrete Angels is Parkway Hills Baptist Church. Here are some of those beautiful individuals, pictured alongside some of our beautiful God's Concrete Angels. Thank you Parkway Hills Baptist Church from all of God's Concrete Angels for what you all continue to do to help out, with food, water, and lots and lots of care and love for all of God's Concrete Angels.

Honoring all those brave men and women in the military on this Memorial Day, May 31, 2021, who served and sacrificed their lives for our country so that we may have the freedoms we so cherish and hold dear. MAY WE NEVER FORGET!

Once again the City of Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions were out and about with "cleaning notices" for some of God's Concrete Angels on June 28, 2021. This is just a way of pushing the homeless around and not providing any real solutions for them. There is just not enough shelter space to accommodate the number of homeless in the city of Dallas, a number that just continues to grow.

Pictured here is one of God's Concrete Angels, packed up with everything they own, on their way to find another place to lay their head. Hoping that the next place they find will keep them safe, both from the City of Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions and others that may also wish to do them harm. Please, as always, we ask that you keep all of God's Concrete Angels in your hearts and Prayers as we and other "Boots on the Ground" organizations do what we can to provide more permanent solutions for God's Concrete Angels.

TO ALL OF GOD'S CONCRETE ANGELS, HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY 4TH, 2021 AND GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

On Sunday July 25, 2021 at 8:45am we lost one of God's Concrete Angels, Lonnie Lewis. Lonnie was hit by a stray bullet and passed away shortly thereafter. This just shows how dangerous it can be for all of God's Concrete Angels and how it is so needed for all of them to have an opportunity for permanent and affordable housing. Lonnie was a wonderful man, a friend to many, and loved by all whoever had the pleasure of meeting him. Lonnie was never without a smile or a kind word for everyone.

The nonprofit organization, The Human Impact, that also works with the homeless community, put together a beautiful Memorial for Lonnie and his friends. This beautiful Memorial Program was put together by The Human Impact for Lonnie's Memorial. Lonnie will be greatly missed and never forgotten and we know that Lonnie is now with God's Angels and at peace.

We please ask that you all continue to keep all of God's Concrete Angels in your Hearts and Prayers as all of the "Boots on the Ground" organizations, like The Human Impact and other equally wonderful "Boots on the Ground" organizations continue to do what they can to help alleviate some of the pain and suffering that so many of God's Concrete Angels continue to endure on a daily basis and we thank you from all of God's Concrete Angels. WE LOVE YOU LONNIE!

We met these wonderful group of men, with the Church, Living Word Harvest of Dallas Church, as we checked on God's Concrete Angels one recent evening. They were giving out food and supplies to God's Concrete Angels from a large trailer hooked onto the back of this truck. Their Church also has a Christ Centered Men's Home, for those men who are struggling with addiction. They also help them get jobs and a whole new start in life. God Bless You Gentlemen and Keep Up the Awesome Work!

This was one of the latest "cleaning notices" given by the City of Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions to some of God's Concrete Angels. God's Concrete Angels have to always be at the ready to move because they never know when The City of Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions will show up and make them move. Please just continue to keep all of God's Concrete Angels in your hearts and Prayers and thank you from all of God's Concrete Angels.

This notice, given out on September 7, 2021, by the City of Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions to some of God's Concrete Angels was just a continuous way of the City of Dallas putting a Band-Aid on a problem that requires major surgery, with the homeless population continuing to grow day by day. The City of Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions came to do their "Cleaning" of this area in the afternoon instead of in the morning. Please know when these notices are given out that the dates on the notices reflect when the notices were given out not the day the "cleaning" will take place, leaving God's Concrete Angels to always be on their guard to protect their belongings from the City of Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions.

Now the reason the time of day makes a difference for when The City of Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions comes out is because in the morning hours it is more likely that God's Concrete Angels will be there at their encampments, thus making it possible for God's Concrete Angels to safely retrieve and save their belongings so that they will not be thrown away by The City of Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions. But because they came out in the afternoon hours it was more likely that some of God's Concrete Angels were at work, or left to go eat, or to the store.

This in turn results in guaranteeing that God's Concrete Angels will have their belongings thrown away by The City of Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions, because God's Concrete Angels are not there to save their belongings. So some of God's Concrete Angels are then forced to choose between keeping their job or keeping their belongings. You choose your job, (your livelihood), then you lose your belongings, you choose your belongings, (your home), you lose your job. What a painful and sad choice to have to make. Please we ask that you continue to keep all of God's Concrete Angels in your Hearts and Prayers and Thank You From All of God's Concrete Angels.

This note was on the outside of the closed gate of one of the bigger nonprofit organizations that purports to help out the homeless community. While all along the outside of the closed gate of this organization is an ever growing number of homeless individuals. Maybe we should look at having them audited and find out where the money is truly going. Please continue to keep all of God's Concrete Angels in Your Hearts and Prayers.

On one recent Saturday afternoon we had the pleasure of meeting these two gentlemen in the center of the picture. The one with the gray adidas shirt on and the other gentleman with the light blue shirt on. These gentlemen have a ministry with their Church that comes out on Saturdays and does a huge barbecue for the homeless. Pictured with them are some of God's Concrete Angels. God Bless You All For All That You Do!!

This is the home of one of our countries brave veterans. What's wrong with this picture? As we continue to do what we can to help all of God's Concrete Angels, both veterans and nonveterans alike, we ask that all of you please just continue to keep all of them in your Hearts and Prayers!

On Monday, November 8, 2021, the City of Dallas was scheduled to do a "cleanup" of one of the tent encampment areas. The homeless in this area had been notified beforehand by the City of Dallas so they were prepared.

But then Monday passed with no "cleanup" so some of God's Concrete Angels thought that it would be rescheduled and another notice given out for another date so they went on with their day on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Some headed to their jobs, some went to get something to eat and some went to check on processes to get off the streets. And then it happened, with no notice beforehand for Tuesday, November 9, 2021, about a "cleanup" from the City of Dallas they just show up and begin to throw some of God's Concrete Angels things away.

Some of God's Concrete Angels lost their medications, some lost their blankets and sleeping bags to keep them warm from the cold, and sadly many lost everything. As this picture shows above many of God's Concrete Angels were left with just a piece of cardboard to lay their head for the night and nothing else. Please, we ask so humbly, keep all of God's Concrete Angels in your Hearts and Prayers as we work to restore what has been lost, both materially and dignity wise and thank you.

This beautiful Cross, as seen in the background, shines so brightly at night over one of God's Concrete Angels tent encampments. Always letting them know that God is keeping watch over them!

This is another one of our Country's Veterans place they call home, his name is Robert. Our Veterans fought for all of our freedoms only to come back home and have to fight for their own. Please continue to keep all of God's Concrete Angels in your Hearts and Prayers, both Veterans and nonveterans alike, and thank you.

On Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 2021 we had the pleasure of meeting these beautiful individuals with the Church, Revelation of Jesus Christ Ministries. They were out feeding and ministering to God's Concrete Angels, something we found out that they do on a regular basis. We saw so many wonderful groups and individuals sharing blessings to God's Concrete Angels this day, it was truly Heavenly! HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OF YOU AND TO ALL OF GOD'S CONCRETE ANGELS AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

This is some of God's Concrete Angels own "City on a Hill"'. Within a week of taking this picture the number of tents had tripled in size.

We recently met these beautiful people giving food and blessings to some of God's Concrete Angels. This is Stephanie, on the right, and her sister Deshawna. They had made homemade red beans and yams to give out. God Bless You Stephanie and Deshawna and we look forward to seeing you all again.

Underneath this single sheet is one of God's Concrete Angels named Danny. This is how we initially found him, just a single sheet for cover and the concrete for a pillow. It was a very cold day on this day so we put the word out for more blankets for him. Danny told us that he had only been on the streets for a couple of days and that he had tried all the shelters but they were all full.

By the Grace of God some of Danny's fellow God's Concrete Angels had been donated additional blankets and pillows and they gave them to Danny. As we can see from this picture God's caring light was shining brightly over Danny, notice the circular lights above and below Danny. Please continue to keep all of God's Concrete Angels in your Hearts and Prayers and thank you.

We met these wonderful people on December 18, 2021. They are with One Community Church and they were out giving homemade soup and gifts to some of God's Concrete Angels. God Bless You All and Merry Christmas!

This is Sandra and her daughter Michelle. We met them on December 18, 2021 as well. They told us how they were compelled to give back to their community because they too were once homeless, so they went online to see how they could help to make a difference in the homeless community. They brought clothing and compassion to some of God's Concrete Angels and said they would definitely be back to continue to give love and hope. God Bless The Two of You and Merry Christmas!

This is Jacqulyn and her daughter Ephesia, another beautiful mother and daughter giving love and compassion to some of God's Concrete Angels. They had made homemade chili and homemade desserts for them. God Bless the Two of You and Merry Christmas!

This is Rutanya with the group Noble Haven, Inc. Her group was also out on December 18, 2021 giving back to some of God's Concrete Angels. They gave out food, clothing, and other beautiful gifts, but most importantly, like all of the groups and individuals we met that day they gave love and compassion to God's Concrete Angels. God Bless You All and Merry, Merry, Christmas!

This is another beautiful group we met recently that were giving out blankets, water, and lots of love to some of God's Concrete Angels. There group is Sophisticated Ladies In Progress. God Bless You All and Merry, Merry, Christmas!

This is the VIP PASS for God's Concrete Angels, WHO ARE THE TRUE VIPS, to a Christmas Event that takes place every year in their Honor. It is hosted by Operation Care International. The Christmas Event gives clothing, food, toys, and most importantly lots and lots of love to impoverished families and homeless Veterans, and adults. At the Christmas Event Operation Care International also offers medical care, eyeglasses, Evangelism, Foot Washing, and more Love and Compassion! Thank you Operation Care International for what you do for God's Concrete Angels at Christmas time and throughout the year and God Bless You All and Merry, Merry, Christmas from all of God's Concrete Angels!

In the two pictures above are some of our homeless Veterans that are definitely VIPs in every sense of the word. Operation Care International showered them with lots and lots of love and compassion at their annual Christmas Event. We want to thank all of our Veterans For Your Service to our Country and we ask that everyone keep them in your Hearts and Prayers while we all work to fight for them, just as they have fought for us! God Bless You to All of our Veterans and Merry, Merry Christmas!

This gentleman is one of the many beautiful Souls we met at the Operation Care International Christmas Event. His name is Roger Godbehere, (his real last name), and God was certainly at the event throughout for all of God's Concrete Angels! Thank You Operation Care International for Such an Awesome Event and God Bless You All and Merry, Merry, Christmas!

This is the home of one of God's Concrete Angels, all decorated for Christmas.

These are two of God's Concrete Angels getting ready for Christmas!

We would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to our friends Trish and Cynthia, who joined us on Christmas Day, December 25, 2021, to give out cookies, food, blankets, clothing, shoes, and most importantly lots and lots of love and compassion to God's Concrete Angels. God Bless You Both and Merry, Merry, Christmas!

Merry, Merry, Christmas, Happy, Happy, New Year, and God Bless You to All of God's Concrete Angels and May Your Hope Continue To Endure In 2022 and Beyond! We Love You All!!
