Meliene created God's Concrete Angels, which is God Inspired, God Centered, and God Led, in May of 2018, after several years of volunteering with the homeless community and wanting to do more to serve in a larger capacity. Meliene has volunteered with the food pantry at CitySquare. She has also volunteered her time with the SoupMobile Church, the first ever Church of its kind for the homeless, where the volunteers are the guests and the homeless are the members. She also worked as the Community Outreach Coordinator with the SoupMobile, helping coordinate events that enabled more direct help for the homeless community. Events such as the annual SoupMobile Celebrate Jesus Christmas Event, that takes 500 homeless men, women, and children to the Omni Hotel for Christmas.

Professionally Meliene has been a Consultant in Leadership Management and Entrepreneurship. She has over fifteen years of experience in leadership management, sales, and marketing, working with a number of Fortune 500 companies. She has also had two previous businesses of her own, TeAme Concierge & Consulting and TeAme Leadership Consulting. Meliene graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas. She was listed on the President's List as well as the Dean's List during her college career. She was selected by the Department of Criminal Justice as the recipient of the Outstanding Criminal Justice Student Award. She is a Member of the Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society, The University of North Texas Honors College, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and the Alpha Sigma Lambda Society. In her spare time Meliene enjoys running in local running races in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, having completed an ultra marathon, several full marathons, half marathons, 10k's and 5k's.

By the Grace of God all of this has brought Meliene full circle to be where she is today, with the creating of God's Concrete Angels that helps out in the homeless community by going where the homeless are and finding out about them and their immediate needs. Whether those needs are large, such as housing and medical, or just a need for someone to advocate for them, as well as to care and listen to them, God's Concrete Angels are there. God's Concrete Angels does what it can with what it has and then reaches out to churches, nonprofits, and individuals, that also advocate and work with the homeless community and are willing to work together with God's Concrete Angels for what they may not have and they do have, knowing that in the end until we all come together and work together as one, on solving the issue of homelessness, until this happens we will continue to see widespread needless suffering.
