Angel Journey 2026

On this cold January night we saw a large number of God's Concrete Angels lining up for food, clothing, blankets, and plenty of hot cocoa that was given out by our friends at Parkway Baptist Church. On this same night we were alerted by Curtis, another one of our friends who is with Pathway of Life Church. Curtis told us about two ladies that were not doing well. Curtis and I went over and talked to the ladies and found out that one of the ladies was 69 years of age and the other lady was 76 years of age. They were sleeping on the cold hard ground. As we talked to them further we found out that they had tried to get into the Bridge shelter but were denied. The 69 year old lady had befriended the 76 year old lady when she saw her crying and tried to comfort her. We went and talked to the Bridge Shelter about this and again they denied both ladies any help. We then called Austin Street Shelter and were able to get both ladies in their shelter and Austin Street Shelter even told us they would help both ladies in the morning to navigate a more permanent solution for housing them.
